Please remember that the TN/AL LR F-Class State Championship is a completely separate event at AEDC in Tullahoma, TN over Labor Day weekend. There was another thread on it in the Competition forum. We don't want anyone getting these two matches confused.

To respond on behalf of Phil - Yes, and many do. Just as a few sling shooters typically shoot the AEDC match. I just wanted to make sure people understand which match is the actual championship for each discipline and avoid the confusion we had in previous years.

Not only is F-Class welcome, on their website it's characterized as the Tn /Al Long Range F-Class State Championship.
So which is which?

Allow me to try and clear this up once and for all. Please read carefully:

Tullahoma (AEDC) Labor Day weekend = TN/AL LR F-Class State Championship. Sling shooters are also welcome, but this is not the Long-Range Sling state championship.

Oak Ridge (ORSA) Sept 13-14 weekend = TN LR Sling State Championship. F-Class shooters are also welcome, but this is not the Long-Range F-Class state championship.

Memphis Sport Shooting Association (MSSA) Oct 25-26 weekend = TN MR F-Class AND Sling State Championship. This is the Mid-Range state championship for BOTH disciplines.

This setup allows for two Long-Range "Registered" events in TN in which both disciplines can participate and potentially set national records.
