You could notch the rim with a needle file (One thing I did to some of my 284 Brass)It seems I may be forced to have 2 rifles of the same caliber. IF I find the need to keep the brass separate(hopefully not), how would be the best way to mark the brass? I do not clean my brass other than wiping after sizing.
Don’t mix them up, use separate containers for each lot number and chamber. Easy peezyIt seems I may be forced to have 2 rifles of the same caliber. A sharpie is awfully cheap and has multiple uses. I'd rather do that as opposed to hauling multiple boxes to the range, but I can't just step out my back door and shoot any longer, either. It amazes me the amount of money shooters spend to put a Sharpie mark on a piece of brass. Just keep brass for each rifle in separate boxes and write on the box. It's not rocket science.
You need to keep the brass seperate. Don't ever mix them, label each batch, that's how you mark the brass to the rifle. Problem solved. It seems I may be forced to have 2 rifles of the same caliber. Yep, exactly what I posted before seeing this.It amazes me the amount of money shooters spend to put a Sharpie mark on a piece of brass. Just keep brass for each rifle in separate boxes and write on the box. It's not rocket science.
I have a 6br and a 6BRX. At a quick glance they look the same. I just use two MTM boxes clearly marked on top 6BR or 6BRX. No reason to make it complicated. Before I go to the range or hunting I usualy take 1 out of the box and verufy by neck length. It seems I may be forced to have 2 rifles of the same caliber. IF I find the need to keep the brass separate(hopefully not), how would be the best way to mark the brass? I do not clean my brass other than wiping after sizing.
Ok! See above!^^^^^^Forced? Already have a Dasher. Having another rifle built and builder suggested a Dasher. If I built another caliber and rifle didn’t shoot up to expectations, I would always question my decision. I know a Dasher will shoot. Kids won’t hear of me rebarreling current Dasher to anything else.
