Seekins Rifles -- Informed Opinions?

Did some loading and shot one for a guy a couple years back. Don’t remember the model. I was very impressed. Short bolt throw, light as hell, fit/finish awesome, shot amazing. 6.5 prc.

If I wanted a hunting rifle this would be my first choice. I talked to seekins on the phone, wonderful experience. Actually seems like a great value too.

Seekins is top notch! I have 3 Hit Pros and they are feature rich with as good a customer service as there is! Video below is a shop tour. They make nearly everything with little to no outsourcing.

Watched the entire video, impressive. They have some new models coming out this year, I’m gonna try one of their folders, 20” 6.5 PRC. Instead of paying the $$ for a XLR folding chassis or HNT26 chassis and doing a build, I’ll try one of their complete folders, that’s quite a value. I was unaware of their
warranty.

Seekins build excellent rifles. Have been using their products since 2005 and have a Seekins AR for about 13 years and it’s very accurate and runs reliably. I know Glen wouldn’t put out a bad product.

And that is my free experiences and thoughts on the subject. Probably worth more than someone who thinks you should pay for theirs. lol

My buddy bought a 6.5 creedmoor Havac for a antelope hunt we went on in Wyoming in 2022 I shot two into one hole then Jay shot one and as you can see was a very small group with factory Hornaday 147 eldx. I zeroed it and shot out to 400 with it as he decided he wouldn’t take a shot any longer than that and it performed flawlessly.

Great video. Well worth the time for everyone to watch it.

I had the Havac PH2 in 6.5 CM. I bought it used in VGC off another forum. I loved the rifle, I just got bored with the 6.5 CM and sold the rifle. If there was really a negative, it might have been the bolt wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be. But it wasn't really bad enough to complain about. Accuracy was top notch and I loved the stock and trigger that came in the rifle. Would I buy another? You bet, just not the 6.5,CM. I'd love to have one in a varmint caliber.

Whoever was making fun of the guys hat and clothes in the other Seekins Ad thread, maybe you had better go take it up with Matty that was in this video.:D

I love Seekins and liked that video, but I nearly died when he tightened the rear action screw first.

I have an element in 6.5cm. They are great hunting rifles. If I was to buy one today I’d either pickup a ph2 (which I’d think will have a bigger discount in a month when the new ones arrive at the stores) or get a ph3.

The bolts on my HITS all smoothed out very nicely after a few hundred rds. Slicker than sour owl poop now
