SECRET REDNECK CREEDMOOR CLUB

For those wondering, Josh's shop is like the Skunkworks. You need top secret security clearance to get admitted. I was fortunate enough to visit it one time. When the conversation started leaning toward stockmaking, I felt like I needed one of Colonel Klink's code books. :p:D:rolleyes:

You even made it past the “attack wife”! Some don’t!

Show us your 600 yd target......

No where around here to shoot paper a that distance. I did post a video on me shooting a 3.6" target at 500 yards an 20+ mph winds.

@Spaz, What sort of CM do you have, factory or custom. Either way, that's some darn good shooting.

Thanks!

It's a bone stock RPR with a Burris XTRII 3-15x50.

The 100 yd target looks really good. You need a 1/2 MOA 100yd group to be really competitive at 600. I take it you know if you’re shooting FTR that you would be in “Open” class.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the competitive classes or lingo. What is FTR and Open class?

I don't plan on competing. Just having some fun with my (adult) son and some friends. I wouldn't rule it out for the future, though.

FTR is F-class Target Rifle. Essentially a Scoped Dominion of Canada Rifle Association Target Rifle. The DCRA target rifle has a weight limit and must be chambered for either the 7.62mm or 5.56mm NATO calibers. These rules for target rifles are virtually identical (to the detriment of shooting) in Australia, England, Scotland, Canada, and South Africa as well as the Palma associations.

The forges of the realm were fired up to the max last night for a special project. Father and son, both in the National Guard, training to be deployed to fight above all else, Pirates,:eek::eek::eek:
What the heck, I may have done myself in. These two go above and beyond and deserve all the help and knowledge we can give.

So little time.:( Waiting on bottom metal from PT&G so the front end stalls. Does AICS make a drum mag? That would spiff it up!
