SEB update

Gentlemen,

I felt the need to make this post to update you and give some information about SEB Rests.

Since before the first of the year, many customers have contacted me and my dealers about the timing of when their rest will come in. I give the approximate wait times for my rests to my dealers, and they pass that on to you. Even though we are consistently putting in long days, production is not as fast as I had hoped for. My apologies. We are working very hard. I am not willing to give up quality control for higher rest production. I am sorry for the longer wait times!

Getting the NEO-X into regular production took more time than I thought it would.
Wait times from the date you got on a waiting list for the NEO-X, MINI-X and Standard MINI are going to be closer to 12-14 months on average.
The JOYPOD-X wait times are in the 7-12 month time frame.
I plan to discontinue the Standard NEO this year. Those who are already on the waiting list for one, will get a standard NEO rest.
I am also discontinuing the MAX Rest this year. People who are already on the MAX waiting list will get a MAX rest.
Once the Neo and MAX are discontinued, I think I will be able to speed things up with two rest designs no longer in production.

The NEO-X has been such a success, that the waiting list from all my dealers is larger than any rest I have produced.
Thank you for being supportive of SEB Rests. I appreciate the input and suggestions I get from my customers!

All the best,

Thanks Seb. Anyone who is buying your rests is buying them because of the quality and because of the man behind the rests.

I know that I am willing to wait if that means the quality lives up to your outstanding reputation. I would hate for any of your customers to feel like they paid the premium price and got something that was rushed out to meet a quota versus getting something that can be used and handed down to generations... kind of like a high end watch.

I met seb and his beautiful wife at kelblys in 2005,
my wife was able to take Mrs. seb on a day trip to visit the area
helped seb confirm the tune on his rifle and it chat quite a bit over the week

he has not changed much at all since then
smiles, honest kind to all

we should give thanks for all his and his people’s efforts over the years

I know his products have helped me enjoy life better
(thus maybe even treating folks better from being in a god mood after using his stuff)

keep it up buddy we are not finished with you yet. .

Do you have a big rest replacing the Max? Seems like it is definitely the go to rest for the wide stocks and heavy guns in long range.

To my knowledge, Seb does not plan to start making another large/heavy rest.
The NEO-X handles up to a 6" wide forend, and then we have the MINI-X6 (Up to 6" wide forends), and the MINI-X8 (Up to 8" wide forends).
I know these are not heavy in terms of weight front rests, but they will handle the wide forends.

Is the top post thread a M 12? The screws that attach and hold the carry handle.

If you are the owner of a Garmin Xero Chronograph and want the space the bipod will take on your bench I found a nifty little camera/microphone gadget that will allow you to mount the Garmin on top of a post of your Max or Neo.
I plan on being able to use this so I can remove there rest and Chronograph together between relays.

Those look great. I ordered a set too.

Anyone in the US get a Neo-X from Seb’s newest batch that he made?

No one has yet from me anyway, since the first 20 will arrive next week.
Another 20 has been sent, but will arrive later next week or maybe into the following week.

I got this little gadget from Amazon, think it was about 25$, and it clamps about anywhere. Was using it on the ammo table shooting handguns and it also clamps on the rest or table... John View attachment 1509551View attachment 1509552
I just bought a couple of the kits that had a mic boom included and they each have a clamp like that. I also have a couple of Arizona 3-D printed ammo blocks that will screw onto the booms. The clamps will fix them to my Seb Neo-X. I'll try to get a pic up this weekend.
