SEB neo vs the T-Rex rest

Every front rest comes with trade offs. I've shot off most of them and while every top end rest (Rodzilla, Seb, Lenzi, 21st Century) does a great job, they each accomplish it in their own way and you have to find what fits your needs. For me the Rodzilla continues to be my go-to rest because I love the ability to adjust while in position and it's smooth as glass, plus Rod keeps adding to it allowing you to customize it your way
(different tops, feet, etc) without having to go to aftermarket parts. As with any larger front rest your trade off is size when traveling but the T-Rex in between something like a Mini-X (compact) and the 21st Century (very large footprint) so I can accept that.

If I'm ever at a match or range and someone wants to try it, they're always welcome.
Will you speak to the advantages and disadvantages specifically related to br shooting?

I'm sorry but I don't shoot BR. All I can tell you is that Rod put a lot of thought into his BR top, talking to some top guys before making it. That's the top I currently shoot off of and I love it and I can tell you I've run lots of 2-3 minute 25 shot strings on it and I've had zero issues. The rest holds position and there is even a way to cheat it to hold vertical on a given position if you really want to (similar but different to the 21st Century) but it's a little tricky to do.

I run a NEO with a Rodzilla Topper. I like it. Buddy just went from a Neo to the T-Rex and Loves the Change for the Ergonomics, he does complain of the light weight.

Hey all, I'm currently running a SEB NEO and the old man is running a SEB max. He is wanting to go to a NEO but is also interested in the Rodzilla T-Rex. My dad has been talking to Rod and Rod suggested we open a conversation here to see what people who have used both have to say.

His main concern really is how smooth the joystick operation is, is there more or less tolerance in the joystick that when you make micro movements the joystick actually moves a bit before moving the cradle

But Pros and cons and of a comparison of who has ran both is what we are really looking for.
21st Century Hybrid X Rest

I wish i could try a 21st century rest. Too much money to buy and not like. Everything else they make is perfect so i suspect this is too
