Seb NEO Tight Bolts?

Have a Rodzilla top that I am moving from my SEB Mini to my new NEO. F-Class John's video mentions that the two 3mm allen bolts that mount the NEO base plate are tight. I bent an allen key trying to loosen one and then snapped a 3/8" 3mm bit trying to loosen it. Used a short handle ratchet, no impact driver. Do these bolts have thread locker, maybe the red version that requires heat to break them loose? Any other suggestions? Trying to avoid damaging the bolts or the new rest..........

Get a solid T-Handle allen wrench and give it a heavy blow with a Hammer. ( Impact )
That will break it free no problem. Ace Hardware has replacement screws and real nice ones too...ask me how I know. ( reminded me of Motorcycle side cover bolts ) steel bolts in Aluminum takes a heavy set after some time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried a T handle with no success. I did finally get them loose though. Flat punch small enough to not damage the Allen surfaces, several hard smacks, Kroil and a bit of heat. Both had a lot of grey thread locker on them very tough to remove.......

Soak in kroil or other good penetrating oil then put as much torque on it as you can and give the wrench a good whack with a hammer at the same time, while under pressure. Not sure about thread locker but I doubt it, especially not red, fwiw.

Edit, musta been typing at the same time. Glad you got em loose.

Oh they both had loads of threadlocker on them. It wasn't red in color but certainly behaved like it. Couldn't make any progress until heat was applied.

Anyone Know the thread pitch on the SEB Neo leg bolts...I need to get some new ones.
Has anyone replaced theirs and if so, wer'd ya get them.

thanks.
