I make two models since 2009 I think, the standard and the Ratigan version for LV-HV BR rifle.
View attachment 1416986The one above is the Ratigan BR weight for LV-HV gun.
The standard weight has a straight 25mm shaft along the length.
Each has its own ring/sliding piece with different inner hole but they have same outside 2" diameter.
Weight? Ratigan weight is approx 2 lbs.
The heavier your rifle the heavier the counterweight would be. On the MAX rest the counterweight has a longer shaft and two larger sliding pieces that works for rifle up to 60 lbs.
We called it BWS (balance weight system) when Paul Schmid (RIP) and I invented it last 2005 for a heavy gun named "Fist of God" @ Kelbly range. I shot it for the first time using an original seb rest with approx 4 lbs BWS.
Hope this help.
I’m putting together a gun that will come in at 17 to 20 pounds. I have the Ratigan counterweight. Sounds like I need a bigger weight. Can you help me out? Thanks.
