Seb Mini Rest Adjustment

I have a Seb Mini rest that is probably 4 or 5 years old. Recently I’ve found the shaft the handle attaches to is a bit loose. I tighten the handle as tight as it will go and shaft spins around very easily. You can spin the handle and the shaft goes round and round. Appreciate thoughts on how I correct this. Really like my Mini!

The shaft is meant to spin with the joystick, but can be adjusted to not turn as easily. Here are the instructions I received from Seb.

Just remove the bottom bag, you will find two headless screws on the top, turning in (deeper) for more uplift force.

For the front tension screws, turning in deeper for more tight joystick action. Loosening / turning out for lighter joystick action.

That's all, very easy to do / to adjust.

Hope this help. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Tips:

You may rotate the joystick (= the center shaft) in its axis for 2-3 times before use for smoother action.

Just in case the rotational resistance is too loose (joystick can rotate easily in the center shaft), you can tighten the set screw on the bottom of the head unit. First remove the head unit out of the base and move the mariner wheel away, you will see a small hole with headless allen screw on the bottom. Use 3mm allen wrench.
