SEB MAX Question

For those of you using the SEB Max; Do you use the counter weights for guns up to 22lbs in F-Open?
I noted in the review by Sam Hall he is not using the front counter weights with his "light gun" which I believe he says weighs 17lbs.
I have an F Open rifle that weighs in at 22lbs even and wondered if there will be any advantage to having the counter weight system vs shooting without (other than obviously the rest being lighter) in relation to torque, smoothness of joy stick, accuracy, etc? TIA for thoughts, advice.

I don't use the wts with F Open or similar wt bench rest rifles. I use the tension knobs to adjust for different rifles in the 13 to 22 pound range. Seb said be careful not to over/under adjust the tension; to turn the knob one minute at a time to adjust tension.
