Seb Joypod lubrication

I've used mine now for quite a few years and I was wondering if anyone have any suggestion for lubrication?

I had a original seb rest. Was told to use a sin thetic lube. I have some chain spray lube for motorcycle chains that I used. It worked great.

The wise word says, If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I use a mix of G'zox teflon spray and Lucas Red&Tacky grease to lube the grooves on the sliding plates inside.
I use only G'zox teflon spray between the sliding plate and the thick teflon sheet inside, also on the legs and pivoting/sliding parts. Also on the bearings.
Only when the parts are assembled.
Same thing to all of my rests and bipods.
Other brands might also work.

I would ONLY clean and re-lube the internal parts IF the the rest/ bipod has a problem.
I would ONLY lube the friction parts on the outside when really needed.
I would only keep the bipod clean or maintain it properly, soft cloth/towel is fine.
I would avoid to expose the Joypod to extreme heat as the legs joint are epoxy glued.
I would cover the Joypod with a towel during a hot sunny day, or to keep it in the rifle case until about my turn to shoot, when possible.
