This isn't really a review. There are many good pictures and full breakdown on the product with a little digging that can be found. I just want to give a big TWO THUMBS UP for a job well done on this amazing FTR type bi-pod. I don't shoot FTR right now but may in the future after seeing what a HOOT and how precise this bi-pod is. I have had it on 2 different guns with the same repeatable results. I have had both the guns in my rest on the bench (13lb. 234AI in an HS tac stock with a 28" HV Kreiger and a 20lb. 300 Lapua in a Tracker stock with a 34" Lilja) and they both cut a hole. The same results with the Joy-Pod. I followed the development of the Joy-Pod and got on the list for the 1st. run to hit the states and couldn't be more pleased. I don't know what the availability is right now but I am sure Ernie could let you know....Hey Seb I think you hit this one out of the park. I have a date this weekend with a whole field of groundhogs from 75 to around 700yds. YEEEEEHA !!! for me.

I payed $470. shipped with the optional $50. bag made for it to ride on that keeps you with-in the FTR rules of "no boards". The bag is a well made accessory and definitely worth the coin. I think if you buy the bag with the bi-pod there is a $5. break if I remember correctly.

Ummm... you most certainly *can* use boards in F-TR... there are just some restrictions on the dimensions.
