True, but that is irrelevant to what I was asking. You could have 5 different die brands and press brands. All have the same 7/8x14 thread pitch which is industry standard. It wouldn’t matter what caliber your loading and what bullet, one full turn would adjust any die that has 7/8x14 threads by .072” up or down. Knowing this you can now have an semi accurate estimate of how much to rotate your dies to set them properly.The bullet ogive shape determines where the seater contacts the bullet.
