I have had so much success between 0&-10ish, is why I go straight to that. I imagine if you were starting from scratch a guy could start at +15 or so. I do agree with you though, in that it's out of the ordinary if I find a window wider than 3 thousands. If you do, it's probably cuz it don't shoot, and when you move it +-3, it still don't, lol.

The main point is, the barrel will tell you what it wants, but you have to listen. And don't be fooled by one screamer 5 shot group at some "mega jump".... if it won't repeat, it won't agg.
