I have held some of the same thoughts: partly because I really enjoy the puzzle of load development but partly because I like accurate results and the wind always opens the groups and I won’t know what due to the load and due to the wind/shooter.

But consider going out in heavy winds with a good but not great load. Now the wind will dominate and become instructive and fairly challenging.

Just a thought :) I’m working on this, anyway.
