Seating Depth Question

Given that the 6BR has such a long neck (over 0.300"), is there an ideal place within that neck to have the bullet bearing surface? Assume for a moment you can get the ogive to touch the lands. Seems like some people have bullets with the rear bearing surface at or near the case/neck junction and others with the bullet barely into the neck at all.

I ask in part because it seems like a bullet with a long shank put into a long neck would have a LOT of tension, perhaps too much. Also wondering if placement in neck has any material impact on accuracy performance. I suspect it is much more about the bullet ogive relative to the lands.

I like long neck cases for a few reasons. I seat all bullets into the lands .020 or more. The longer necks do have more grip on the bullet and not likely for it to seat upon jamming. There might be some reduced runout with a longer neck assuming cases are precisely resized and concentric. This might be more beneficial if one jumps bullets. Here if only a minimal of bullet in neck one could have more runout. My recent builds have no freebore, so my bullets seat quite deep and as my lands receed I will have ample neck to maintain good bullet grip. Longer necks allow me to use more bullet types seating into the lands with a good length of bullet in neck. Trimming necks is not a concern either.
