Seating boattail bullet

Is it better to seat the boattail shank junction Below neck shoulder junction? Above? Even?
Thanks
Bill

Personally I like to seat with bearing surface .025" to .030" above neck/shoulder junction. This is to avoid a possible Donut at that point and consequent variation in neck tension. Constrictions from donuts also mess with uniform seating depth. Cases neck turned into the shoulder won't exhibit the donut phenomenon as quickly. Cases with 35* or 40* shoulders will show very little if any stretch after F/Forming. So there's no hard/fast rule. Just a lot of variables to consider and consistent monitoring of case dimensions to assure uniformity. Two cents please :)
