Screw on funnel for 8# Hodgdon jugs?

2 liter plastic soda bottle, cut half off the fat part and you have an absolutely-non-stick funnel. Make a U-shaped cut in the side, and you have a slot to rest the neck of the bottle you're pouring from, and the powder cannot overshoot the other side.

the problem is different powder companys use different sizes,,make them all,,post for sale

I probably have most 1# jugs, but just a few different manufactures 8# jugs. Hodgdon, not one of them.

I was gonna suggest 3D printing.... looks like #40 stepped up.

I'd turn an aluminum one on a lathe but,laziness is what it is?

Couple of different options I came up with. Let me know what you think and if you desire something else.

First off, I was going to 3D print a screw on cap, separate to the funnel, but I thought why not let you modify your own lid to hold the funnel. So, I ran with that.




All you'd have to do is cut a hole in your current or old cap, fit a funnel under it and off to the races.

I remembered I had a screw-on funnel with cap for pouring paint out of 5-gallon buckets; I just tried it on a Hodgdon 8# jug and Alliant 5# and 8# jugs and it was compatible with all of them. I think I paid $2-3 for it at my local hardware store years ago. Do an internet search on "Encore EZ pour spout" and you should get some results.
