Not so much scrapings but sanding dust along with super glue....fix broken off checkering with that also..

A friend just bought a red pad #1 that's in good shape except for one scratch in the finish.
I wondered what the best way to cover up the scratch.

Here's the fore end for that #1 Ruger with a few coats on it and a insert to cover up the off center sling stud hole...
