Scott recently tuned my Redding beam scale. It is dead on accurate and consistent. Numerous checks with my check weight were perfectly consistent.

I also have a Parker tuned Redding #1 using this scale gave me the courage to purchase a Charge Master Link. With all the unwanted effects on plug in scales I felt better with a good check point.

I can load 100rds an hour. I charge in blocks of 25, seating bullets with an arbor press and carry on from there. I use an RCBS Uniflow and trickle the .1-.2grains to zero the beam and dump it.

They do not drop a charge, it's a balance beam..

If I remember it was 90$ per scale if you send him your own . You can find scales on ebay . I highly recomend the Redding #1 . Thee hydraulic dampining is great .

The deflection time for a balance beam is controlled by magnets this can be different from scale to scale. But the Redding #1 is controled but oil and in my opinion is quicker then the magnet scales. But I am still a newbie.
