SCOTCH-BRITE PADS GRIT CHART

I came across a Scotch-Brite Pads Grit Chart the other day with the following information. I thought it was interesting since I use ScotchBrite Pads in my reloading process. I did not realize that Scotch-Brite Pads came in so many different grits.

Re: SCOTCHBRITE GRIT CHART

Yep , I buy about 1000 plus Scotch Maroon pads per year , used for finishing off anything SS after welding and cleaning off pickling paste , plus is very good for wood finishing to.
Unlike garnet paper the pads hold the sand dust within the fibres.
I never throw out used maroon pads, as they wear down they produce a finer cut.

Mike.
