scoring system

Have been out of shooting highpower/f-class for a year and going to start back in this year. Is scoring system A still being used any or is B pretty standard at most matches now?

At Phoenix, we used this system. In addition, misses are marked with large scoring panels at both the lower right and lower left corners of the target frame.

That is different that either A or B as per nra highpower/f-class rules, but ok I will get it memorized. Thanks.

What they have shown you is the new rule and the one you now have to go by. There is no A or B system now. This scoring system applies to both prone and F-Class targets.

How can you tell if a shot is an 8 to the left..or right...and a 10 from a 5 if they both score in the lower right corner.????,,,,thanks Roger

Two markers are used. One is placed in the designated spot on the edge of the target to indicate the value of the shot as shown in the above illustration. The other marker is placed in the bullet hole. The shooter / scorer uses both markers to determine the score of the shot.

ooooo I C....sorta like two lil' paddles....one over the bullet hole and one in the score position.....I was perplexed how you would know if the shot was a 7 or 8 to the left or rt......thank you for clairifying that for me....I hope to try F class this summer.....thanks again...Roger

One trip to the pits and pull three relays and you will be an expert at it!
