Score match at Rockingham County Gun Club ( NC ) April 23rd

RCGC will be hosting our second score match of the year on Saturday, April 23rd. This match will be at 200 yards.

Targets are scored using a reticle, so there is no caliber advantage. Classes are available for Benchrest, Modified, and factory rifles.

You do NOT have to be a club member to participate.

Match report by Steve Stanley:

"Beautiful day for a 200 yd match at the Rock, mid 60's at the start and mid 70's at the end. Conditions weren't too bad overall but they got switchy and it wasn't hard to get caught. There were 19 shooters 18 VFS and 1 modified. Reggie Wright won VFS with a fine 262- 13x, Thomas Arrington was 2nd w 262-13x and my buddy Ken Eades was 3rd w 262-12x. Sam Hardy won mod w 244-2. Congrats to the winners and thanks to all that came and shot. Thanks to Kevin Lasley, Jessica Lasley, Roy Darnell and his crew for putting on the match. They do a great job and it is appreciated by all."
