Scopes for Nitrogen Piston Air-Rifles

Have a Leupold M 4 that the cross broke loose 2 times. It was mounted on my Ruger 10/22. Leupold finally told me the "recoil" of the 10/22 was the cause of the cross problems??? Makes me wonder it that would also apply to "air guns"???
Funny that the recoil from a .308 isn't an issue but an "air gun" or a 10/22?
For that reason, not a fan of Leupold scopes.

Got any good ideas?? This is a .22, and I've got a bazillion of these Crossman HP's, a tin of pointed, and a tin of Piranha's which I haven't tried yet.

I don't suppose that you'd recommend that I try my 45 gr. cast round nose's that I use for plinkers in my Bee?? ;)
If your really serious sell some powder burner you no longer use, or can't find powder or bullets for and buy an AirArms TX200 or Weirauch 97. Now you can shoot it off bags like a regular rifle and shoot 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards. About 800.00 or a bit less for the rifle. Forget the artillery hold BS if you buy a good air rifle.20230624_093409.jpg20221005_140659.jpg
