Scope to fit Deviant Ultralight action

Anybody have one of the new Deviant Ultralight actions? I am looking for a scope that will fit and be lightweight? The " mounting length" of this action is about 5.30 to 5.40, depending on the rings used. I have not found a scope with enough mounting length that is small and lightweight. I want something with about 42 mm objective and low power variable or maybe 6 power fixed. A few scopes look like the will be a tight fit but would not be able to be moved back and forth to adjust eye relief. Am I over thinking this or what? Anybody have Thai action and what scope are you using?fv

Been thinking this will be my next purchase to build a calling gun on.

Was going to put a NF on mine, but haven`t even gotten as far as to take fitment measurements.

Love the action. I also have a Deviant tactical action and I just love the idea that Defiance had with the ultralight.

Have you looked at the Swaro Z3s or Z5s with the 42/44mm obj? Not sure of the length, but eventually that is all my hunting rifles will carry.

Jon Beanland is currently building a rifle with that action for me, I'm glad to hear you like it.

Most of the fixed 6 powers have a lot of tube length. I would have thought eye relief would be easy using a leupold 6x42, swfa, meopta etc etc. I could see possible problems with the compacts, especially if they have the turrets out of center.
