Scope Ring Suggestions?

I was going to pick up a set of high NightForce Ultra-light rings for my bench rifle because I need to watch my weight.

I'm always trying to save a buck no matter how much money comes my way in life, so my question is...
Are they really that much lighter than other aluminum rings and worth the price point? Or is there other rings that match the NF weight and quality out there for a lesser price?

Rings are for a picatinny base and need to be over 1" high. Thanks

I don't know about aluminum v. steel v. titanium -- I think they probably all work. However, I have a set of the Nightforce Ultralights that I'll make you a deal on. I'll dig them up and measure them and weigh them and get back to you. No pressure, just thought I'd throw it out there.

The crossbolt, nut and jaw are the only pieces that are made from titanium. The brunt of the ring is aluminum. I use Near rings that weigh in at roughly 4 ounces. My Nightforce aluminum rings weigh 4.3 ounces. Both are high rings.

not to worry, they are definitely 30mm (heck, I don't even know if NF makes 1"...).

Stay tuned for height, etc. I've been re-org'ing the powpow room, and stuff is all over the place ATM.

Okay, they're new in the package, and they're 0.407" from base top to bottom of the ring circle. Add 15mm to that, and they're likely lower than you want. 0.997" is what I get. In other words, these are their 1" height rings, or what NF considers "medium".
