Weaver? If you are the original owner, Weaver will repair it, free of charge.

Who is repairing scope reticles now? My Weaver T36 crosshairs broke.
Call Weaver Warranty Repair at 1-800-379-1732 and get a RGA number. They will take care of you. I recently had a T-36 reticle fall out. They had it back within two weeks at no charge. I was not the original buyer.

Just out of curiosity, did you still have the receipt for the original purchase? Some on here have mentioned that they had trouble with Weaver on warranty repairs because they had not kept their original purchase receipt and Weaver would do nothing for them without a copy of it. Not my idea of a lifetime warranty, but I will admit that it is way ahead of Tasco's so called "lifetime warranty".

I didn't have a receipt for the original purchase and they didn't ask for it. They gave me a RGA # and I mailed the scope to them and received it back completely repaired. Maybe I just caught them on a good day.

A "warranty", and a "lifetime guarantee", is one of the things that separates Leupold from most.

Does the current owner of Weaver warrantee 50 year old scopes made in El Paso?

No, they are not affiliated with the old Weaver firm and do not repair U.S. made scopes. Ackerman does some work on them.

I had a weaver scope that I was not the original owner nor did I have a sales receipt and sent it in for repair and they did not repair it but sent me a new scope. I think their website states you need the sales receipt but they took care of me anyway. You would be better off to check with weaver to see what they have to say.
