I didn't have a receipt for the original purchase and they didn't ask for it. They gave me a RGA # and I mailed the scope to them and received it back completely repaired. Maybe I just caught them on a good day.Just out of curiosity, did you still have the receipt for the original purchase? Some on here have mentioned that they had trouble with Weaver on warranty repairs because they had not kept their original purchase receipt and Weaver would do nothing for them without a copy of it. Not my idea of a lifetime warranty, but I will admit that it is way ahead of Tasco's so called "lifetime warranty".
Does the current owner of Weaver warrantee 50 year old scopes made in El Paso?
Problem with Leupold is they are incompetent and can't fix anything unless it is sent in four timesA "warranty", and a "lifetime guarantee", is one of the things that separates Leupold from most.
