scope power for 1000yard prone

i'm to the point in my rifle build that i'm trying to pick a scope, thought you guy and gals could lend a little help...

my question is a simple one, for my 1000 yard prone rifle, I have two options, both from the same company. Either a 16 power or 20 power.
I'm leaning toward the 16, I thing that my heart beat may affect the 20 to much, any thoughts?????

I have two Leupold's. One 20x50 and one 18x40. I like them because I can dial down for mirage and see my heart beat, so I know when to shoot.

SilverEagle,
Your pulse is there no matter what power you choose, it's just more noticeable to you with the larger magnification. I also like the ability to dial down in heavy mirage, but I prefer the higher magnification for holding off. I shot a 8.5-25 Leupold last year, and I'll be using a NF 8-32x56 this year.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

I use the Nightforce 12-42x56 at full power for my prone guns. Because of my pulse and poor eyesight, I use the FC2 reticle which, at 42x, has a 0.4moa dot.
