Hi all, Ready to get a scope for my ar-15. Its a 16" barrel with a 3lbs trigger. The scopes I have been looking at are Leupold ar mod 1 4-12x40 Nikon m-223 4-16x42 and sightron sii 4-16x42. I like the turrets built for the .223 on the Nikon and leupold. But can get the sightron much cheaper. Is it worth the extra money for the 223 turrets? I will be using the rifle for shooting ground squirrels and some paper usually under 300yrds. Would like to stay under $500. What are your opinions on the scopes that I have listed? Any others you would recommend? Any help would be appreciated.
