scope clicks

hey men, correct me if i wrong. on my scope the clicks are 1/4 @100 yrds. does that meen it doubles every 100 yrds, for instance: 1/2" at 200, 1" at 300, 2" at 400 etc. thanks, SPM

thanks gunamonth, that explains alot of what went wrong at the range. so now im looking at a ballistic card i printed off here and it has the drop in both in and moa. so when i do the math they are pretty close, but which is better, multiply the moa by 4 or divide the drop in inches by the corresponding numbers you had posted. thanks again, SPM

You may well find that your advertised 1/4 MOA clicks are not really 1/4 MOA either - even with an expensive scope.

Do a box drill to check your windage and elevation adjustments, and find out just how well your scope is tracking. Sometimes a fellow makes some pretty surprising discoveries...
