I going to start F class shooting and need some help. I have searched the threads (honest) and done homework on scope choices for F TR class shooting but still have a couple of questions. First off, I know that scopes are a somewhat personal choice, but asking for inputs anyway. I've been narrowing choices down to:
1) Nightforce 12-42x56 BR scope
2) Nightforce competition 15-55x52
3) March 5-50x56
4) or high end March 8-80x56.
Br is lowest price, has 56mm objective & 30 mm tube
NF comp has smaller objective & 30 mm tube
both have reasonable ranges of adjustment for elevation & windage
March has larger tube & larger ranges of adjustment for elevation & windage (and both are much more expensive).
goal is to have enough adjustment to shoot reduced matches at local club (300 - 600 yards) and full range (1000 yards) within adjustment ranges.
Are the March scopes of significant enough superior optics / quality / and with listed adjustments to justify the $800 - 2000 differences in price. I don't mind "buy once / cry once" mantra, but I still want to buy RIGHT once.
thanks for any inputs
