I love this scope. The way the elevation turret is set up you can never get lost. Optics are amazing. Parallax knob is so accurate that it can be used as a range finder. Tracking and turret feel are perfect. Mine is a First Focal Plane P4F and I can see anything & everything. If I miss, it ain't the scopes fault.
There are only 2 things I would change. I would like a reticle that had MOA hash marks and I wish the elevation turret was not cluttered by the single click hash marks. My 50 year old eyes have a hard time seeing those tiny lines so close together - but there is a longer halfway mark and the clicks can be easily counted which makes it OK.
edited to add: You asked about a comparison to Night Force. I have owned multiple NXS and Bench Rest Night Force scopes. This S&B makes them look and feel like a Barska or NC Star scope.

Get a March scope and never look back

The 5-25x56 PMII with a FFP P3 reticle is fine on steel at 1000.
