Ok let me first off say that I am really ready for my first match in May.I have been working on my load and getting the needed things to be ready for that weekend.I just hope that nothing here at home keeps me from going.
Now with that said my topic says it all.I have been thinking and maybe to much, already been told that I have, but the target itself keeps coming to mind.I am woundering if there is such a target, one that has a scale ( grid ) that will allow one to keep up with his/her hits.I'm really not looking to shoot this target but really want to be able to keep up with hits on a smaller layout for later use.I have an idea in my head and I've even played a little on papper.I think the grid part should be in inch form so one could make almost pin point marks that was made on a real target. One could transfer their hits to this target ( score target ) if I may call it that for now for later us.It would allow the shooter to look back at a target without having to drag out the real hudge target.
So I guess my question is is there such a thing or have I thought of something new.I too am sorry for asking if have asked a dumb question, again I am really new to what goes on in a match, but really wanting to learn as much as I can.Just thought my idea,if its an idea at all would be nice to have.I would think pulling out a 1000 yard target ( 6'x6' ) would be a pain to just look at it again.
thanks John
