Scale ideas?

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like for 99% of shooters there isn't that big of a difference between a good quality beam scale and a good quality electric scale. Both are very sensitive and both are repeatable. Maybe the biggest difference is speed? I mean a good electric scale with the motorized powder thrower and trickler vs a beam scale. I would think the electric would win out for speed and accuracy, would it not?
I've no idea who this chap is, but he seems to have a good work flow going here:

And another here:

If the beam scale is not dampened, no.

If it is, it's as fast. I replaced magnets in a Lee Precision scale as a test, and it stops moving within two seconds. A magnet under the scale pan stops the perpetual swinging.

There is no motorised powder thrower that is faster than an initial powder drop to minus one grain, and a manual trickle up. Some find the motorised powder measure convenient.

hmm never thought about the magnet under the pan. Wouldnt this affect the weigh by 'pulling' on the pan? The hangar bail and the pan wire should be tweaked so the swing is exactly parallel with the beam. This way you really dont need to wait for the pan to immobilize to see the weig as any wobble will be the same on the up and down side and you can see where the center point is.

I wondered the same thing. You could check that with a good electric scale to see if there was any variance due to the magnet under the pan.
