Savage

I have one with a 2 oz. trigger, made by and installed by Fred Moreo (Sharpshooters supply) unfortunately he no longer makes them. I also have an accu trigger at 7 oz., but the rest of mine are clunkers, but they are not competition guns either.
That sounds like the “Evolution” Trigger. Quite rare, and would have to come with the action. Fred only sold it if He installed it on one of His ”Blueprinted“ actions.

Somebody said a few yrs ago Savage has never won anything in 1000yd comp, so I was scanning the results looking for trends and found the result. I also noticed Leupold scopes dominated for a long time, But smallest group of the day is a win
This was Steve's point, nothing more, nothing less. Not meant for you Rat Rifle, but some people read more into it than there is.

I have the same trigger in my PTA savage actioned 6.5x47 and it breaks a shade over 2 oz. and has been dependable for 1508 rounds and has been cleaned twice with Ronsonal. Wish they were still available.

We have another Savage 4X4 in .223 Rem. that has a Canjar set trigger that breaks at 4 oz when using it as a set trigger, never measured the pull when using it in the conventional mode.
