Savage threads to Remington threads

THanks guys. Looks like if it has to be rechambered to put Remington threads on it ain't worth it i'd sell it and buy a remage criterian. Also I can't do the work myself. Thanks

Yup ! My suggestion was geared toward the couple of hobby guys here that posted . I don't think they have the internal thread thing yet . If they do I'm sorry and guess it's easier for some to just buy it . Not me .

I was talking with a barrel maker the other day, that said he planned on making them too, for a lot less than the going rates. I don't know if he has them up and running yet, though.

It really wouldnt take much time to make one manually and a cnc cycle time would be very minimal. I think i could produce them for $5-10 retail if i believed in barrel nuts. Damn sure dont believe in them for a counterbored barrel- too much tolerance stacking going on there even on a flat back tenon. If your bolt nose spacing is correct theres a small chance headspace is right. But ive always tried to fit barrels right so im not the one to ask about barrel nut systems for sure!
