Savage Target action

I was wondering what a Savage target action is going for now. I seen on the savage site it was like 4??. I could order one through my local gun shop but it will cost close to 500 bucks. Let me know what you think.

Jim at Northland Shooter Supply get $460 for the target action and $490 for the dual port. He usually stocks them all. Larry Scott (I think that is the correct name) used to have an ad on this forum for them. I didn't find it on the search. I think $450 or under is a good deal. Luck, tim

I have seen used ones go for $375-400 and the disappear quickly. $425 for a used one is a decent deal. The savage actions hold their value fairly well because of the mix and match nature of the barrel nut. Luck, Tim

There is one with a HS stock for $630 in the classifieds on this site. That sounds good if you need the stock.
