Savage Target Action Base and Ring Options (Pic Request)

I would like to see the different set-up for the savage PTA using Davidson Style mount. Also information on performance of the davidson set up. Does it hold well, any movement. I am aware of the benchsourch rail, but I fear it may be a bit too high. I am considering a Harrell base or kelby base and kelby rings. Any pics will be greatly appreciated, other set-ups are welcomed too.

Thanks,
Brandon

Not sure which rings I'm using but I suspect they are the lowest. The bottom of the 30 mm scope tube is between 1/4" and 5/16" above the scope rail. I have a HV contour barrel and 56 mm scope objective which leaves about 1/16" clearance.

I used Farrell's base and Burris Signature Z rings.

I have two Savage target action rifles and have Farrel bases on both, 10 and 20 moa. I also use the Burris rings with the plastic inserts. The pic shows the rifle with Sightron 8-32x56 Target scope.

If weight is an issue, NightForce makes a nice 2 piece picatinny style 20 MOA base for the Savage action for around $80-$90.

I wouldn't worry about the height of a base. If a base is too high, just buy lower rings.

Thanks for the pictures. I like the idea of the NF 2 piece 20 moa.
That would be if I go weaver style, Davidson style I like the Kelby base and the one made
By Harrel Precision but I'm not certain I can get them in MOA base
Keep em coming
