Savage short action bolt

Gentlemen, I am in search of a complete Savage SA bolt for a .308 and 22BR switch barrel project. I currently have a .223 bolt for the other barrels. Midway and Brownells don't have the parts I need build one, so if any of the gunsmiths on this site can help I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks

Go to ptg they make and sell them also, or God forgive me try Sharp shooter supply.
Might also look at Numrich or Stock aide(Kevin Rayhill).
You can also have your gun smith order direct from Savage.

I thought about Sharp Shooter Supply but after reading the horror stories just on this site about them I said to myself, don't even think about it. But i do thank you guys for the other references.

PT&G sells both complete replacement bolts and just bolt components. They may require some gunsmithing. They are of much higher quality standards than the factory parts. That is why they cost more.

I will give PT&G a call, though I didn't see a complete Savage bolt on his site, I did purchase an excellent complete Rem SA bolt from him recently. When I checked Numrich They listed the complete Savage bolts as "sold out" as well as most of the parts.

Do you need just the bolt head? Can you get a bolt body and such or do you just need the whole darn thing.

Jon, I have a .473 bolthead only but would prefer the whole thing to make life simple. If I need to, I would accept (buy) any parts I can get to put a complete one together.
