Savage rifle ??????

I know a guy who hase a savage muzzeloader that looks like a 110,He only wants $125 for it but I have no use for another muzzeloader and was wondering if it would take and work with a regular rifle barrel. thanks c

Buy it thats dirtcheap, it shoots smokeless powder. look up Dougs Message Board on google and scroll down to smokeless Muzzle loaders. It is actually reccomended for smokeless powder. they will throw a 250 grain 45 cal projectile in a sabot at 2500fps+ And you only have to clean them every 40-50 shots. If I have one and I reccomend it. If its legal in your area you really should buy it. Also a lot of them will shoot well under an inch group at 100 and people are killing deer out to 300+ yards with it. It's called a 10ML or a 10 MLII depending on when it was made. Mine was one of the first ones (10ML) and you have to have a holder for the 209 primer that loads like a cartridge. It still must be loaded from the muzzle but the various game and fish agency said that made it too much like a modern rifle so they made one with a fixed primer holder and called it the 10 ML II. Its an interesting piece, and fun to shoot. But mine kicks like a mule with I think (would have to look it up haven't shot it since last fall) about 68 grains of 10X.
