Savage model 12 target action Stock

I have a new Savage target action waiting for a bed to lay in. Looking for suggestions on a benchrest style laminated stock. I have been looking at the SSS stock but not sure if it comes finished or if i will have to finish it. Also liking the new Bobby Hart stocks with the bedding blocks in them.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Look at Precision Rifle and Tool with a Whidden V-Block. Ray's benchrest stock is awesome and the v-block works great too.

Fred's come sanded but you put on the finish of your choice. The oils are very easy to apply.

Kevin Rayhill at Stockades makes a nice bench stock with aluminum bedding block built in.

Does Kevin Rayhill make wood Laminates?? Im pretty sure i onlt saw synthetics on his site.

I have an SSS stock on my Savage Target action. It was the "most finished" unfinished stock I ever bought. Very clean inletting and pillar bedded. A very light sanding and a few coats of oil and it was ready to go. Vic

You are correct, I have never seen/heard of any laminates coming from Kevin didn't know that was what you were looking for.
