From a bing search it would seem that they were made in 1010-2011 time frame as that is the time frame of the Auction sites postings........as far as who it was made for a call into Savage would solve your problem.....IMHO more than likely made for a Distributor like Camefore or Jerry's.
Nice looking Boyd stock on them and the price was not bad in the $540 range.
