Savage LRPV back to 6 BR with pics

I have a Savage LRPV that started as a 6mm BR. I got it used, and changed it to a 20 TAC, then later to a 223AI 8 twist. I have a CBI 28" 8 tw 6mm BR barrel coming Tuesday. I change the bolthead back to 6 br today. I will get some pics when I get the barrel on.

I got the 6mm BR back together today. It now has a CBI 28" 6mm BR 8 twist back on it. The scope is a Sightron S3 8 x 32. Can't wait to shoot it, but we are getting 12" to 18" of snow, don't know when I can get in to the range. The Striker is also a 6mm BR CBI 8 tw 15"

I like the Striker, I have a contender 6BR 10 twist. I wish it was an 8 twist. It shoots pretty good. Matt

In a few months, then it warms up. I will take them to Bangsteel.com and range them out. It is about 30 miles from my house. They have targets out to one mile, the rifle should get to 1200 yds . I am shooting Berger 90gr. BT in the Striker, hope to get to 600 yds The 8X scope will be the limits to the Striker.

Got out today, broke in the barrel and shot a few groups with 87gr. Vmax 4 groups agg. 0.389" smallest 0.243" load is 32.0 gr. Target CCI br-4
