Savage Factory Barrel Issues and cleaning…

I also had good results using the Tubb's Final Finish on Savage and Remington factory barrels. My Criterium and Shilen pre-fit barrels came lapped and do not copper foul badly. I do not get too aggressive trying to get all the copper out as it takes more sighters to settle in before starting my record string.

75 rounds before it (the accuracy) goes south? Not many folks shooting 75 rounds at a time, unless you're competing.

Don't clean as much. Maybe just a good brush job? Remember, it's a Savage. ;)

That it is. Im going to start cleaning a little more often and not near as squeaky clean as I have been

When the accuracy goes south, brush it (a bit) and get back to shooting. Your target will tell you when the "little bit" is needed. ;)
