Savage F/TR Stock Recoil Pad......

Any of you folks replaced the recoil pad on your Savage F/TR stock? If you went with Kick-eez or Limbsaver, what pad model # worked?

I used a Kick-Eez pad on my Mcrees Precision stocked 7SAUM F-Open rifle (21 lb.). It really did make the recoil very manageable. I've shot as many as 60 rounds in a single range session with no problem. Some Kick-Eez pads are pre-fits, most are not. Usually you buy them oversize, then belt sand to fit the stock's profile. Since my stock is an aluminum chassis I really didn't worry about the profile, just ordered the pad who's overall dimensions came closest to the original, then just screwed it on.
