4.4 spacing F-Class stock, Flat bottom, ventilated forearm, straight level butt stock.
UPS did a job on this and refused to pay the claim on top of it! Please let me know what you've got.
Thank you
Stuart

Hahaha snapped that hand grip right off and claimed it wasn't packed properly. How the hell do you prevent it getting caught between two hard objects and getting it folded so hard that laminated wood snaps sideways?

I know the feeling about UPS and their shipping experiences. Fortunately they covered the cost for a new stock. Thank goodness I paid extra for the insurance.

Stupid UPS even though they were paid extra for covering the rifle they still denied the claim.

UPS, is famous for not paying. They are self-insured and refuse to pay claims. I haven't send anything UPS in over 20 years.

I shipped an engine in a crate with UPS Freight to Miami--turned up Lost--a week later nothing--I called the terminal in Miami at about midnight--Told the guy that answered the phone I was the UPS manager for East coast and that if they did not find that crate and call me back in an hour I would be down the next day to fire every soul I could see until they found it.
short while later they called and had located my crate pushed to the corner it had "stalled" in the system--I know that is a Giant terminal with thousands of crates but .........
Sometimes you have to get creative

Just a UPS in Fly Over Oregone............
I get a Notice: Package delay ! Scan sent Package to wrong location ? one hundred miles from my location ! Re routing to your Zip.

If you haven't gone to Fed-X of late ? I did told No More Insurance on shipping ? You best have proof of item to file a claim...........

Those rip offs costing us little Guys $$$$$$$

Give Savage a call.
A few yrs back, the laminate started seperating on my stock. They just sent me a new one in a few weeks.

Im going through a similar UPS situation right now.
Just purchased a BRAND NEW Beretta 688, sent just the barrels to have a custom rib installed.
When it arrived, HUGE DENT IN THE BARRELS. Even with insurance, UPS is dening all responsibility.

While you're looking, or if you just want a backup, take the two pieces and epoxy them together. Once cured, use a drill press (or extremely carefully with a hand drill) and work up to a 3/4" bit from the bottom of the pistol grip. Score the sides of a 3/4" hardwood dowel, slather it in Titebond, and seat it in there. Once dried, cut off the excess dowel and presto, you're back in the X- ring.

It makes it more compelling for UPS to pay the claim if I leave it alone. Like us all, we have many many more rifles to shoot to buy time. Hahahaha

If you were interested I’ve fixed many of these laminated stocks and I have had great luck with them never breaking again I’ve even fixed forearms on model 3200 Remington’s that Remington said they couldn’t fix and to this day it has never cracked again if you’re interested call Thom at 716-868-1433
