Savage f-class 6br action torque after bedding

Hello all,
Just wondering what you have all found to be the best torque for the action screws after one has bedded a factory f-class stock? Prior to bedding I was 35, 35, 15 and it worked well. I would assume I can have them all equal now?? but thought I would see if someone has done some playing around.
Thanks

I have read that article, and used that prior to bedding and wonder if the same works after bedding. I did not bed the tang area.

Just my guess, but I would expect that bedding would make it hard to induce stress in the action with the front two screws. A tight torque may work the best just to be sure there is no movement. The tang screw is another matter. If you did not bed, then I would expect you can put stress into the action with it. I guess in one way that may be bad, but on the other hand it may be a way of tuning it.

I bedded a Savage VLP recently, stock laminate stock, and afterwards I was wondering the same thing. Now my action is only 2 screws holding it into the stock but, I torqued them a 40 in/lbs. This is a 22-250 and it shoots high .2s at 100 and .5 MOA at 300. Hope this helped!

I was always told by Geoff Corn and Fred Moreo that the rear tang on a savage should be floated. Also the rear screw on target and standard actions should be less, as only half of the pillar is supporting the action. If it is pillared and bedded or a bedding block stock that is skim bedded then 65 in/lbs on the front and tune the rear screw. To tune the rear screw I was told to hang the rifle in a barrel vise parallel to the ground. tighten the front screw to 65in/lbs and the rear one to 45. Loosen the front screw and check to see if the stock drops away from the barrel at the forend, if it does the rear action screw is too tight and is imparting stress to the action. Loosen the rear screw up and retorque the front to 65 again. Tighten the rear one to 35 again and loosen the front screw, if no stock drop happens then you are set to torque front to 65 and rear to 35. You can try 40lbs, but was told either 35 or 45 depending on the particular action/ bedding/ stock combination.
