savage ejector removal

My Savage PTA bolt got the full Grimstod treatment. It was the best money I’ve spent on a Savage.

Grimstod did it all to mine as well.

Do not remove the extractor (I believe NorCal made a mistake and meant ejector).
If you remove the extractor, you will be banging cases out with a cleaning rod.

Ejector, extractor, Tomatoes,Tomotoes. I'am getting old so cut me a little slack, PLEASE.
And changing the postition of the ejector?

I wonder if installing another ejector at a different location on the bolt face would carry the case above the lug raceway. Seems like it would work to me. Just thinking out loud.

Pulling the "ejector rod" is so much easier BUT, nothing wrong with a little R&D to see if there IS a cure/fix. Maybe eject "down"? Might work on a single shot action with a sled to keep the case from popping off the bolt head?
