SOLD Savage-CUSTOM DROP PORT-Target Action-Long Range Dasher

I'm selling this super custom Savage, Built on a highly customized Savage Target action, a true one of a kind! This was Built by "Mr. Savage" Fred Mario Owner of Sharp Shooter Supply.

It started life as a single port right bolt left port action. Then it was timed and true'd to the custom fluted and powder coated bolt, with a custom .473 bolt head for the BOTTOM EJECT CUSTOMIZED ACTION, and machined for the small Dia.firing pin in the timed bolt.




The bolt is also customized with a custom Sharp Shooter's bolt handle with a high polish Stainless threetment. as well as a custom bolt release for the excellent Evolution trigger by Fred. As well as a custom milled picatinny rail with 20 MOA Scope Base


the bottom port was cut and fitted to the Sharp Shooter Dog Tracker Target Stok in a spirit of America Laminated Red Blue and Black pattern.

With a polished Stainless trigger guard and drop port stanchion as well as pillar bedded. It was then fitted with a 26" Heavy contour Stainless Brux 1-8 6mm barrel in 6mm Dasher chambering. Then fitted with a custom Double Chambered multi directional Polished Stainless Steel Muzzle Brake. With less than 150 rounds total on the barrel. Shot in two events @ 600 yards in Gallipolis Ohio @ the Golden 600 range. Taking High Score of the match in one event!

So this is more than looker, it is a fine shooting machine, and the most Customized Savage Target rifle you will find built by the Master Savage gunsmith, as his own personal rifle. Price is ridiculous for a rifle with this much attention to detail with shipping to your FFL, or FTF here in Ohio at my FFL's shop, for $2700.00


Trust me you will never find another Savage, let alone on their Stainless Target action with the custom tuned Evolution trigger smithed by the developer of this trigger, utilizing a flawless bottom eject tuned action, at any price with the Custom attention to accuracy and detail this Long Range rigg has, with less than 150 rounds on everything here.

PM's answered, with a little more on the rifle, the Muzzle Brake is a 2 piece inner and outer, multi directional brake. It is an exclusive SSS item, and works great, here is the only picture I have of it, it is threaded to the barrel not fixed.

The amount of custom tuning and machining of one of parts is hard to price alone. But this rifle can't be duplicated. In the first place Fred no longer offers his Evolution trigger, and it is the Cadillac of Savage Triggers for the Target Action. The price to have the action converted alone is getting up there to near the price of a custom action alone, when the stock work and custom machined parts to make both work is considered, that trigger is pretty much a name your price item if you find someone willing to sell one?

With a lot of tedious and expensive machining, this is available on a couple Custom actions at an increased price. It works flawlessly and lets the shooter concentrate on getting as many rounds off as possible when a condition is holding, and the spent cases just drop on a towel or cloth under the receiver.
